SHERIDENE DOROTHY WESLEY It is with tremendous sadness that the sudden passing of Sheridene Dorothy Wesley is announced. While spending the Christmas holidays with her family in her native home of beautiful Barbados, Sheridene, who lived in Dugald Man., and worked for the past 22 years at the Victoria General Hospital passed from the hands of this world and those who loved her dearly into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour. Born on June 14, 1942 to Sylvia Marshall and Cyril Walton, Sheridene leaves behind to forever cherish her love and memories; her husband Edwin Paul Wesley and children, Sherilyn and Edwin (Delyle). Along with a wealth of family and friends who loved her are brothers, Douglas and Wendell Walton and Keivel Husbands of Barbados; father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Naomi Wesley; brother-in-law David Wesley; sisters-in-law, Marlene and Nancy Wesley; son-in-law Darwin Funk and granddaughter Isabelle Funk; as well as many nieces and nephews. Our mom always gave the best of herself to others. We have no doubt that this holiday season for her was filled with love and happiness as she sang, danced, and celebrated Christmas with her immediate family for the first time in over 30 years. We know that our reunion with her will be even sweeter in Heaven, and we look forward to the day that we as a family will be united once again. A Service of Remembrance for her joie de vivre and radiant personality will be held at The Meeting Place, 139 Smith Street at 1:00 p.m. on January 10. Interment and reception to follow. Flower donations may be sent to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway 338-0331. For those who wish a donation may be made in lieu of flowers to The Guild of Victoria General Hospital.
